The Microsoft Store

Microsoft has many branches and one of the branches I worked for is the Microsoft Store. Large scale print, advertising, experiences, social media collateral, and in-store outreach were part of my every day. I worked with a team to deliver holistic solutions for the Microsoft Store’s seasonal and pop-up campaigns.

Above are two complete campaign renders that went on to be used in physical Microsoft Stores that I tackled the visuals for. Shout out to the production artists who took all these files and made them look beyond proper in-store.

Our store team of four people created this mini-campaign in two weeks. My role was to create storyboards for the pitches sent to both Microsoft and lovepop and the creation of social media collateral to advertise the short-lived promotional campaign. Above is the final store buildout of a custom colored cherry blossom tree offered by lovepop in their greeting card line. This mini-campaign increased the foot traffic of each location and gave potential patrons a reason to go inside to take pictures and interact with the store.

Daily the Microsoft Store advertises on a rotation of social media platforms, through email blasts, and their site. Physical assets such as flyers given out to new customers were also made almost daily as part of Microsoft Store’s marketing model. Above is a handfull of collateral pieces from digital campaigns, and below are some of the printed materials for in-store visits. I probably made hundreds of these types of collateral assets per year.
